Cascade Medical Center Remodel to Begin This Month from The Wenatchee World After a seven-year wait, construction on a $10.6 million remodel of Cascade Medical Center is finally set to begin. The medical center's board plans to award a contract to Lavernier Construction of Spokane on Tuesday. The company has already been told that it has won the contract and construction is expected to begin Aug. 17.

Update on the University of Chicago's New Hospital Pavilion from The Examiner Construction began in May on the new 10-story, 1.2 million-square-foot hospital pavilion, located on the University of Chicago Hospital Medical Campus.
